The Water Fun Day went off without a hitch. The weather was kind to us so there was a good turn out with 17 dogs entering they Obedience Tests and 2 pups joining in. Many more opted for the games and tomfoolery, but it seems that all had a great day out.

The French trippers showed off their pictures and news clippings of their trip and are looking forward to the International event in Germany next year. As expected, the Scots were made very welcome by their French hosts. It was the first year that the dogs have gone abroad and they made a real impression with their display.

There was a sizeable raffle, dates were up for grabs for Dipsy, and Jackie Peebles made a welcomed return back at the novelties stall.

The winner of the Obedience was David Cant with Sashka who had a near perfect score of 65 with Joyce Missenden and Poppy coming second on 58

The Egg & Spoon Race was won by Paul Smith and Arty

The Duck Race winning Team was Wendy Rutherford with Missy, Lauren Rich with Kaia and Keith Missenden with Baillie

The Cup and Ball game was won by Cathy Lyall, but everyone went away with a chocolate fix.

Thanks to everyone who took part and to those who donated to the raffle. Many thanks to the committee and volunteers for putting the day together and making it a great success.
